Who are you? At your core. How are you? I mean: What are you like? When you are being “yourself”.
What makes you tick, stirs you, fulfills you? What do you like to do? What do you immensely enjoy doing? What makes your heart sing? What are you passionate about? What comes naturally to you?
Who are you apart from who society has taught you to be? Apart from who parents have “asked” you to be? Who are you aside from conditioning?
These are the sort of questions you can ask yourself when you’re seeking to know, to discover, who you really are. Who you are in essence. Don’t listen to anybody who is judging you. Be your own judge; “To thine own self be true”, wrote Shakespeare.
Why bother to find out who you truly are at a soul level? You’ll find out why. But let me say this: You are likely to feel so much more free and “light” as you move on through your life, once you begin to look clearly, with bright awareness, at yourself. And then no more acting! You are you, and you want the world to witness the real you. Only the real you.
